M3 10x6 Nuts not threaded

We all come across unscrewed M3 10x6 Nuts. Don’t throw them away. They can still be useful.

  1. Re-thread them with a M3 x 0.5 tap. I put one in one side of a beam with a screwed nut on the other side. Tap through the screwed nut. This will ensure the threads are square.

  2. Drill out the nut with a 3.2mm drill. They can be used instead of a beam plug.
